Heritage Lottery Fund
Supports all aspects of heritage, from historic buildings and museums to archives, nature conservation and oral history. Funding provided for both capital grants (for buildings and equipment) and time-limited activity. Grants are available from £5,000.

Young Roots
Young roots is a grant programme funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, managed in partnership with specialist youth agencies. The Scheme aims to involve 13 - 20 year olds in finding out about their heritage, developing skills, building confidence and promoting community involvement. Grants are available between £5,000 and £25,000.

Screen East
A lottery distributor of the Film Council awards grants for film production. The primary aims are to support film culture by improving access to and education about the moving image; and to create a sustainable UK film industry. Grants up to £5,000 for individuals, up to £10,000 for charitable organisations and up to £20,000 for registered companies.

Queen Elizabeth Scholarships
Queen Elizabeth Scholarships are awarded to fund further study, training and practical experience for individuals wishing to improve their craft or trade skills. Scholarships are worth between £2,000 and £15,000 and can be awarded for a wide range of modern and traditional crafts. Recent recipients have included a ceramic artist, calligraphers, a digital photographer, glassmakers and upholsterers. Norfolk Community Fund
The Local Giving Fund gives grants of up to £2,000 to voluntary and community groups working all over Norfolk.
The Bishop of Norwich's Community Fund gives grants of about £300 to voluntary and community groups addressing real need within their local communities throughout Norfolk, with a preference given to those with a Christian foundation and ethos. For more details visit www.norfolkfoundation.com
