Need help with paying your rent?

If you pay rent, either as a housing association tenant or in a private property, you may be able to claim housing benefit in the form of a rent allowance or rebate. Your bill could be reduced by up to 100% depending on:

• How much Rent you pay
• Your family's needs
• Your income and savings
• The circumstances of the people living with you
• The type of property you live in
