Objective 3

Objective 3 is solely funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) Regulation. ESF will support Government policies to tackle the problems of worklessness, inadequate skills and social exclusion, as identified in the National Action Plan for Employment. In particular, Objective 3 will support national approaches to: active labour market measures, lifelong learning, adaptability and entrepreneurship, equal opportunities and promoting social inclusion and improving the position of women in the labour market.
