Council Achieves Top Business Award - 10th January 2008
After 18 months of working towards a wide range of stringent targets, North Norfolk District Council has achieved the Investors in People standard, one of the top awards available to business organisations, recognising excellence in their ways of working, especially in involving and developing their staff.

New Licensing Requirements for Private Hire Vehicles - 13 December, 2007
Taxis and private hire drivers will have to meet stricter standards under new rules coming into force in January. Now North Norfolk District Council is organising a seminar in February for drivers who work for the voluntary sector, who may also be affected by the change in the law.

Now, thanks to a £200,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund, North Norfolk District Council is putting the 'play' back into the District's play areas.

NNDC has adopted a new approach to play facilities, which will see a host of new activities designed with play, rather than over-protectiveness, in mind.
